Black Angus Development creates new traditional residential and commercial developments that have lasting value to the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. We are interested in doing small projects with people that we care about. We pay attention to the details that make a functional and aesthetic difference in our developments. We will never be the biggest, but we hope to be the most important to the people who live or work in our neighborhoods.

Black Angus Development has two principles, Shawn Drummond and Thomas Toombs.

Shawn is a licensed attorney with a back ground in Tax Law. He and his wife, Dr. Paula Drummond have lived in Fairhope with their children since 1994. Thomas has a degree from Emory University, is a licensed Alabama Homebuilder, and has an extensive manufacturing background. Thomas and Carriann are proud to call the Eastern Shore home since 1995.

Note: The namesake and logo of our company is Thomas’ fourteen year old dog, Angus. Because of age, Angus no longer accompanies us to the job site daily, but is always there in spirit to insure a fun, loyal, and safe work site.
